NATASHA AMBROSE
PSYCHOSYNTHESIS COACH
Freedom can only be found inside of yourself
I haven't always been a coach. My career started in yachting, where I worked my way up to Chief Officer on Superyachts. While at sea, I was working 70-hour weeks and living in 'fight or flight' mode. My mind was constantly running and I could barely take a moment to breathe, let alone find space to meditate. I eventually decided something needed to change and moved into a more balanced role within the industry. With more time for myself I discovered a passion for helping others and set about developing my skills and experience in coaching.

In 2015 at the age of 28, I was diagnosed with stage four cancer - if I thought I was in fight mode before I was wrong. I went into battle with my cancer, a rare type with no genetic links and a frightening outlook. I was told that I would have 50% chance of living for five years and a 30% chance for 10 years - it was a blow. It was in that moment that I armoured up and decided there and then that I was not giving up, that I would use all of my strength and determination to live.

It was the first time in my life I realised what a privilege it was to be healthy - without our health we have nothing. I became filled with gratitude for the life I had lived so far, and I saw the world through a new lens where every day is a gift because tomorrow might not come. I instantly stopped judging others, realising that each of us is on our own individual path, and just because I cannot see their pain or trauma, does not mean they're not living it.
Cancer served as the catalyst that transformed my life; I wouldn't be the person I am today without that experience.
From this point forward, I made a conscious choice to infuse my life with passion and purpose. "Trust me" became my mantra, symbolising my new-found confidence in making authentic decisions. A desire for more from life fuelled my journey. I delved into self-development, embraced meditation, enrolled in courses, and pursued every avenue to deepen my self-awareness. and embody my beliefs. This commitment to authenticity and purposeful living ultimately guided me to the path of coaching.
I studied and became an accredited Psychosynthesis coach. I believe that every one of us can live in freedom from the constructs that we have created, the stories that we have told ourselves, the critic and the judge that whisper in our ears, and all of the limiting beliefs that stop us from accessing our true nature, speaking our truth, and living in our utmost potential.
Beyond coaching, my dedication to helping others thrive extends to my role as a co-founder of two impactful initiatives. Firstly, She of the Sea is a community-driven organisation aimed at empowering and supporting women in the maritime industry and secondly LEGASEA, a social impact platform committed to elevating the superyacht industry. My focus is on fostering innovation and sustainability within the industry, prioritising passion, drive, and competency as the key drivers of progress. Through collective action and investment in our people, communities, and the next generation, we can working collectively to ensure a brighter future for all involved.
At the heart of everything I do, people remain the central focus, driving my purpose and guiding my actions. Whether you're seeking guidance to navigate personal challenges, looking to break free from limiting beliefs, or aspiring to make a positive impact in your industry, I'm here to support you.
